Work with me
Don't want to do it yourself?
Most of this site is aimed at people who want to build the thing themselves. But every week someone emails me and says something like: "I love the idea, I've read every post, I'm still not going to sit down and do it." Fair enough. That's what this page is for.
What I actually do
I take on a small number of projects each quarter and build them the same way I've built my own nine — with AI, in public, honestly. Usually that looks like a marketing site, a small internal tool, a v1 of a product idea you've been sitting on for a year, or a "clean up what I've already vibed together" rescue job.
Who this is for
- Small business owners who need a real website, not another template.
- People with a clear idea and no time (or no interest) to learn the tools.
- Folks who started building with AI, hit the wall, and want someone to take it the rest of the way.
Who it's not for
- Anyone looking for the cheapest option on the internet. I'm not that.
- Big enterprise builds, regulated industries, or anything with a legal/compliance surface area I'm not qualified for.
- "Can you build me the next Uber for $500 by Friday" — respectfully, no.
How it works
- You tell me what you want. A paragraph is fine. Voice memo is better.
- We hop on a 20-minute call. I tell you honestly whether I'm the right person, or whether you'd be better off doing it yourself with the free prompts.
- If it's a fit, I quote a flat price. No hourly billing, no scope-creep games. Half up front, half on delivery.
- I build it in a couple of weeks and show you progress along the way. You get the code, the site, and a plain- English walkthrough of how to change things later.
Pricing
Flat, predictable, no hourly games. Half up front, half on delivery.
- Build cost — $2,500 generally covers a standard vibe-coded website but it can vary. Final price depends on custom features layered on top (forms, directories, calculators, logins, payments, etc.). Keep in mind, some of the underlying functions require ongoing monthly subscriptions. You'll get a flat number before we start.
- Ongoing maintenance — $250–$500/month. Bug fixes, small tweaks, keeping the lights on, being a human you can email when something breaks.
- SEO + content updates — $200–$800/month. New pages, blog posts, on-page SEO, keeping the site alive on Google and in front of AI answer engines.
You can start with just the build and add the monthly pieces later — or skip them entirely and run it yourself.
Availability
I cap this at 5 projects a quarter so it doesn't eat the rest of my life (see: two kids, a construction supply business, a golf handicap I'm still trying to lower). If I'm full, I'll say so and put you on a short list.
Get in touch
Email me at joeybess1@gmail.com with a couple of sentences about what you're trying to build. I read every one and reply personally, usually within a day or two.
One honest note: I'm a 50-year-old non-coder who's gotten pretty good at this by doing it a lot. I'm not an agency. I'm not a "senior engineer." What you get is someone who's actually shipped things, who talks like a human, and who won't disappear on you. That's the whole pitch.
